Technical Communications Major

My name is Jamesa Brown, and I am currently completing a Bachelors degree in Technical Communications at Texas Tech University. I aim to become a technical writer, but I am open to the many possibilities in my major: usability testing, technical editing, technical illustrating, and more! Prior to attending Texas Tech, I have worked as a Deli Clerk for a grocery store chain and as a Package Handler for both FedEx and UPS. This jobs were fruitful in experiences and gave me an appreciation for those who work in labor. I chose Technical Communications because I have a knack for analytically drafting multimodal documents including brochures and guides.
