I would define myself as a problem solver. Looking backwards, in all my professional experiences I have been recognized as notorious. For many years I thought that my development skills were the key for my success, until I started my own business and had to deal with many problems in areas such as: Design, Product and Development, of course. At that point I really recognized myself as a person who understood beyond what was needed or asked to do and I realized that this was what made the difference in my previous experiences. With that in mind and counting with my tech skills I found myself as a professional that can delivery more than code, data or analysis: I do it all while I understand the bigger business picture. My name is Diogo Medeiros, a speed lover, problem solver and data specialist. As a technician I've spent more of my career on data field. I am more experienced on PostgreSQL where I had to do more and more analysis, query performance improvements, server tuning, data replication (both logical and streaming) and data model design. Thinking about infrastructure, I have worked with AWS and OCI mostly, where I was finally able to use my networking and linux skills. Also, many times I use Python to help me on ETL process and data analysis. I am very proud of my history and I'm looking forward to the next challenge where I can make the difference.
