Video editing: the Nordstone Design Team and Nordstone Development Team needed to collaborate together to create a seamless UI with complex functionality for the user to search, trim and save clips from their favourite YouTube videos.

Communication with hardware: to ensure the product met its users’ needs, the Nordstone Development Team needed to build software to integrate with the Internet of Things, which flawlessly communicated with the hardware with zero latency.

API integrations: to achieve the required complex functionality, the Nordstone Development Team had to integrate a myriad of APIs to support the fully fledged features of the mobile app.

The Nordstone Design Team crafted premium high fidelity designs which kept to the client’s core thesis of simplicity. Then the Nordstone Development Team built a top tier product that seamlessly integrated several APIs, including proprietary APIs - to successfully enable the users to search, trim and save their favourite clips.

The client is a visionary taking advantage of the tectonic shift in the investing landscape. In the dawn of an era where retail investing has real impact, fueling events such as the GameStop saga of January 2021 - the trend of investing is social. Giving rise to a new arena: social investing.

In order to design and build the appropriate technology solution, the Nordstone Development Team needed to integrate a selection of highly complex, bespoke and technical APIs. On top of this technical complexity - the mobile and web apps needed to have top tier UX/UI to earn the trust of the users, who are business owners, to raise millions of dollars from the platform. Furthermore, the product required an appropriate robust infrastructure to handle large volumes of payment flows.

The Nordstone Design Team crafted premium designs exceeding the client’s expectations. Using these designs, the Nordstone Development Team worked seamlessly with the Nordstone Design Team to successfully build the web and mobile apps for the CoinCare team to scale their company. Furthermore, a strong personal and professional relationship was formed with the client and hence many new business opportunities and collaborations were created.

Payments Mobile App

Maps: in the food markets that were listed on the platform, the distance between vendors were only a few metres apart. Requiring ultra fine detail in the maps without losing location accuracy.

Vendor dashboard: we needed to provide the businesses on the platform the most effective interface for them to upload their full scale business profiles for the users to view. This required the businesses to upload a significant volume of large scale content.

Coupon fraud: a large problem in coupon redemption platforms is the unfortunate prevalence of coupon duplication and coupon fraud. It was essential to build a robust security infrastructure for the platform to mitigate this issue.

Maps: the single biggest challenge was to engineer a map system which included bridleways. This required the Nordstone Strategy Team to liaise with local authorities across the UK to gather the necessary raw data. Then for the Nordstone Development Team to build custom architecture from scratch to support the overlaying of bridleways on to a map - all whilst ensuring its interactivity.

Payments: the Nordstone Development Team needed to engineer a seamlessly integrated payment infrastructure to support end-to-end transactions for both goods and services.

Community: the Nordstone Design Team and Nordstone Development Team needed to meet the challenge and collaborate together to design and build a clean and smooth social feature which would allow a vibrant community to flourish.
