Yasaswini S.

I have a Masters degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from UC Berkeley and a BSc (Hons) in Lifesciences from the National University of Singapore. I have worked for three years as a research assistant and presented my work on nuclear receptors at the 90th Annual Meeting of the Endocrine Society. My graduate studies dealt with small molecule inhibitors of mitotic pathways and I co-authored a paper that appeared in ACS Chemical Biology. I have spent three years teaching Science and English to first generation learners. This has enhanced my ability to present complex ideas in clear and simple language. I have honed the ability to respond to an individual's needs with sensitivity, insight and creativity. My background in science and experience in teaching give me the ideal skills to be an academic writer and editor. My articles have appeared in leading national dailies and magazines.
