Project Overview:
Develop a master plan for a commercial recreational farm that is 170 meters by 100 meters, located in the Riyadh region. The plan should create a multi-use recreational space with a focus on low-cost operations and suitability for the local climate and ecology.

Location and Climate Considerations:

The land is located in the Riyadh region, which has a desert climate with extreme temperatures and minimal rainfall.
Designs must consider thermal comfort, shade, and cooling strategies to ensure usability throughout the year.
Ecological considerations should be made for water conservation and the selection of native plant species.

Land Dimensions:

Total area: 170 meters (length) x 100 meters (width).

Scope of Work:

Site Analysis:

Analyze the local climate data and ecology to inform the site design.
Include climate-responsive features that address the high temperatures and dry conditions of Riyadh.

Design Brief:

Plan the usage of space that respects the local climate and ecological constraints, while fulfilling the vision for the recreational farm.

Recreational Area Development (Blue coded):

Propose activities that are suitable for hot, arid climates, with shaded areas and cooling features.
Ensure any water features are designed for water efficiency and minimal maintenance. Note that all plam trees will be removed.

Sports Complex Development (Red coded):

Design the sports complex with materials and turf suitable for Riyadh's temperature extremes.
Include heat mitigation strategies such as shading structures over seating and play areas.

Parking and Accessibility (Green coded):

Create parking solutions with reflective surfaces to reduce heat absorption.
Plan for shaded walkways from parking to main activity areas. Note that the purple area inside the green coded area is 3 meter higher where there is a gradual ramp around the pruple coded area.

Landscaping and Green Spaces:

Use drought-resistant and native plant species to reduce water consumption.
Incorporate xeriscaping principles to minimize irrigation needs.

Utilities and Infrastructure:

Recommend sustainable solutions for water and power that suit the Riyadh region, such as greywater systems and solar power installations.

Materials and Construction:

Suggest building materials with high thermal mass or reflective properties to combat the heat.
Emphasize construction techniques that reduce heat gain and improve energy efficiency.

Project Phasing:

Develop a single-phase master plan that incorporates climate-resilient features throughout the development process.

Budget Considerations:

Provide a rough order estimated materials needed to execute the design.

Deliverables:
