Contest Brief

Hi and thanks for looking at my job.
I am collecting some data from testing RCD units. It is three fields per RCD.
I already have a layout that I would like someones help create a template that is easy to input fields.
If you are efficient in google docs excel and spreadsheets this will be a good job for you.

If we can please keep the layout similar as it is easy for the clients to understand the information. If you have a better option let me know i'm open for improvements.

Please ask me questions to save yourself time. One factor is making the layout easy for the client to understand. The existing format works for them but is difficult for my team to use. A template of the existing design that could be reused would be perfect.

    The more I can understand, the more I can automate. For the Milli Ampere Test and Milli Second Test, it's pretty straightforward with a threshold. For the rest, it might be possible to do conditional tests with inputs from user. For eg, Push button for them to choose Completed or Fail. If they choose Fail, they need to specify reasons or actions (eg. requires replacement).

    I don't know your industry well, but line chart seems weird since it's not about a trend. I could be wrong though. Happy to discuss further.

      The line chart is just for visual image of threshold and if the RCD tests above the line its a fail. If you can think of a better way I'm open.

      The inputs are to show the mA and mS tests. The other tests we do are easily put into an over view area. Its more of a check list, to show we have completed screw test and x screws were loose. We have completed fire rating, we have completed push button test. Any findings are then written so the client can see what we have fixed.

      It does help if the template is in a report style as this is much easier on the eyes for the clients.

    #14 . Sir this is very near to your demand. I am willing to work with you on this. Reply soon. Sir everything in my data sheet is auto generated after the values mentioned in word doc table are put. It needs replacement or not is also processed and a remark is generated: "PBS fail for Lights & Door" as I have shown on in my entry. I am excited to hear from you.

      It would be best if I had some kind of template that I could use from Google doc or Google spreadsheet. Right now we collect data in a Google doc and its a lot of back and forth.

      At the moment I collect in google docs. I'm open to ideas as keeping with the existing template and making it easy for me to reuse would be the most beneficial.
