- Real-time tracking: To monitor and share real-time location of the booked taxi.
- Multiple payment options: Allowing users to pay for their rides through various methods such as cards, wallets and cash.
- In-app chat service: Facilitating seamless communication between drivers and riders to clear any queries or concerns.
- Ride history: Enabling users to view and manage their past rides.
- Fare estimation: Assuring transparency by offering fare estimates before booking the ride.
- Driver ratings and reviews: Ensuring accountability and improving service quality by allowing users to rate and review their drivers after ride completion.
The most apt freelancer for this would be a developer skilled in Android OS with experience in map integration, real-time tracking, secure payment gateway integration, and rating systems in mobile applications. Familiarity with the taxi service industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
