Hello, I am looking for an experienced Excel expert to develop a complex spreadsheet solution to manage both text and numerical data. The data contains the name of our employees and the time they are planned to work each month.
Our employees have different contacts. The working hours of each employee can be different.
Our personal depatment will schedule our employee fo each month and can schedule the working hours to be a few hours more or less then sated in the contract.
We need an overwiew.
I have the Following FOlder Structure:
- 2023
-- 01-Januar
-- 02-Februar
-- 03-Maerz
-- 04-April
-- 05-Mai
-- 06-Juni
-- 07-July
-- 08-August
-- 09-September
-- 10-Oktober
-- 11-November
-- 12-Dezember
In the folder 2023 there is one Main Excel File with a column for "Name", "Hours in contract", "Divergence" for all our employee.
In the monthly subfolder will be more than one excel file. Each department will write an excel file for there own department staff.
In this files will be the columns "Name" and "planned working hours" where the "planned working hours" are the total amount how much the employee has to work in this month.
What has ti be done:
As soon as there is a new file in subfolder the Main Excel should be Updated. ID is the Column "Name"
Behind the columns of the Main Excel ("Name", "Hours in contract", "Divergence" ) should be Columns for each month (01-Januar, 02-Februar....)
Now i want that the Main Excel will be updatet as soon as there is a new excel file in the monthly subfolder (Name of the Excel should not matter).
In the main Excel i now want to see the monthly planned hours of each emplyee and the difference to the contract.
A third Colum should show the total difference. So if the employee worked -5 hours in Januar an +2 hours in Februar the Total differnce in Februar would be -3.
The Colum "Divergence" in the Main Colum should be added to the total difference. So when we will start with the excel we can put the current - or + hours in the column Divergence.
