We have a MySQL DB and need to create a web service that we can expose to our application developer. The web service will need to have 2 methods.
The first method will query and return data from a couple of tables in MySQL.
The second method will writeback data that the user inputs. This writeback method will execute 2-3 queries writing data to 2-3 tables.
We will want to expose this web service as a WSDL for my application developer.
Our application server is Apache Tomcat, so the web service will need to be compiled as a WAR file for deployment to the Tomcat server.
We are using MySQL and can setup the standard JDBC driver.
We already have a testing/dev sandbox that is publicly exposed over the web with MySQL ports opened so you can test locally in your own dev environment.
