I am looking for a freelancer who can help me with setting up and configuring with custom scripts my media server using Plex. I am interested in automating the downloading of content and would like assistance in setting up NZBget, Sonarr, Radarr, rclone, google workspace, Tautulli, Overseerr and organizr.
The goal is to have this set up to work on demand.
1. User request through Overseer
2. Sonarr, Radarr, and NZBget do their thing
3. Tautulli sends out Notification i.e. when available on Plex to requestor and users, when it will be removed.
Custom Script.
1. For movies, after available, if watched by all users delete and purge data from plex, radarr, and overseerr, if all users who have not watched in 30 days delete from google workspace, purge data from Plex, Radarr, Overseerr and so on to keep clean. Tautulli can can send out 10 days to watch warning. (I found a script that is suppose to do similar to this, but needs some work and improvement). Request can be put in to get same movie again, then follows same process.
2. For TV, check if any other users are watching, delete episodes watched if each of those users have watched, purge those episodes removed episode data from plex, sonarr, overseerr and so on to keep clean. If earlier episodes are added as someone else wants to start watching they will be removed after watched by all with watch history. Sonarr to monitor for missing and future, unmonitor episodes watched by all users who have watched. If requestor has already watched but requested again after deleted, clear watch history and same process follows ater watched.
3. If series episode has not been watched by all watching in 30 days send out notification that if not watched will be removed to those watching series but have not watched episode. If all users with series history who have not watched are at 60 days unwat delete file and purge data. Do not remove episodes that have user still on earlier episode. Sonarr to monitor for future episodes.
4. Automation to process request immediately, check for missing regularly, and process quickly.
The idea is to keep space free, any user can request movies and tv, they will be available to all, movies and data are removed and purge after 30 days, can always be requested again resetting clock to 30 days. Tv shows are treated by episode, never delete episode if a user is in an earlier episode, always monitor future episodes, delete when all watching that serries has watched that episode or if unwatch users hit 60 days unwatched.
With google no longer supporting unlimited I want to make this system as on demand and efficient as possible and google workspace 5 TB should be plenty to maintain my families viewing.
Nzbget, sonarr, radarr, rclone, and plex settings need to be optimized efficiently and to prevent transcoding unles necessary.
Need package to install and replicate same set up, different variables such as top level domain, plex account, and google workspace for rclone as part of setup install package. The news server for nzbget, nzb indexers for sonarr and radarr will be set up after install, but all connectivity and optimizations need to be pre configured.
I will be using Vultr for the VPS, and have to replicate this for different instances, with different google workspace accounts, and different top level domain. Top level domain will be organizerr or overseerr.
Skills and experience needed for this project:
- Proficiency in setting up and configuring Plex Media Server
-expert in scripts and python
- Knowledge of NZBget, Sonarr, Radarr, Tautulli, and Overseerr for automated content downloading
- Familiarity with network drives and the ability to assist with setting them up if needed
