I am English, partially educated in France (qualifications BEPC and Bac 'A'), with further language studies in the UK. I have spent most of my professional life in England, employed principally as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in software development, including bi-lingual roles. I am now seeking the flexibility and freedom of freelance translation work, putting to use my 40 years of language knowledge and 30 years of business, IT and project management skills. Since 2008 I have been working full-time for Dell Computers in Montpellier, France, as Online Business Manager. I have been actively using my language skills, enabling me to work closely with the native-language French and Spanish sales teams and US senior management. I can confidently approach business, computing and eCommerce-related communication in these languages. I can also treat many other subjects, from carpentry to cats!
