The former USSR modular and precast concrete industry seem to be not the worst way to develop such technology. To use some standard and already calculated elements also see, to be the solution. Since the design is already done for wood structure, its common that the reinforced concrete is more stronger than wood. So the dimensions of the structural elements will be greatly reduced and hence the overall cost.
