We are finishing a database in filemaker 18 pro. I would guess its about 60% finished. The database is for auto repair shops. It stores customers, vehicles and periodic maintenance items. It also functions as an inspection database. The program uses previous visits to estimate mileage per day. That per day estimate allows us to estimate when mileage based services are due by date. The software must be a standalone system. What I mean by that is it must Install and then operate without outside software being installed. One report pulls all vehicles that have outstanding maintenance due it can pull many vehicles. Each vehicle report needs to be able to be sent to the owner without the software operator setting up and emailing each vehicle owner individually. Clicking "email" sends each individual their part of the report. The email portion has not been started Once we have it complete we will sell it as a PC based program or later possibly put it online. The database needs to be able to be locked for non payment and we also want a 30 day trial period. This portion of the program has not been started. The main calculation is not programmed correctly and needs adjustment. Most of the tables and forms are there but need some adjustments. We also want an inspection page which has not been started. The reports are rough and need fine tuning. I can share screen shots and answer any questions before you bid. I am open to any suggestions that would make this software program better. I've attached a couple screen shots to give you a feel.

I can read somebody else's code/program and do modifications and improvements on it. I have not used Filemaker 18 Pro before but I wrote a program in MS Microsoft Access which has its own forms and reports just like Filemaker 18 Pro. I have the following experience: I developed/improved performance of financial reports using MS Access Basic with Oracle Database behind. I developed reports or enhanced performance of queries in the reports using Oracle Reports, Oracle BI reports, SQL, stored procedures for the following projects: -Oracle Financials (Oracle EBS) Project -Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Project -Siber Logistics Software Project(MSSQL) -Cognos BI Project(PostgreSQL) -I wrote Oracle stored procedures to send automatic invoices, arrival notices, cargo specs and reconciliation letters to customers. Greetings - Experienced FileMaker developer here. Former Federal employee familiar with small and large datasystems, three in FileMaker, several in Access / SQL. Very experienced with: - data normalization - fine tuning of data requirements - front-end user interface programming & functionality - report generation and report layout design - scripting and Web forms Within FileMaker, I have experience with handling a database of over 100,000 data records. These data were cleaned up for use in a production system that generated both a) automated emails upon completion of a dataset, &, b) had automated scripting that allowed for data uploads from a web interface. Users could generate final reports of selected data for print with a one-button click on the screen. The Web interface allowed over 20 users to access the database from an online, secure URL, perform data entry, and then save any and all data edits. Layout of this database included over 40 unique layouts in FileMaker, numerous scripts in FileMaker’s scripting language, & technical documentation of database functionality (i.e., a “how-to” guide for users). Improving any data schema for the inspections component can be easily made. I would recommend exporting the clean, empty data structure as a stand-alone clone version for customers to access without the software - easily done in FileMaker.
