Background The Evaluation Toolbox was developed in 2012 using Joomla 1.5 [login to view URL] The website was updated to Joomla 3.x on a sub-domain and is available for viewing at [login to view URL] using a basic Joomla 3 basic template. The Task We are seeking a freelancer to customise or create a clean, simple and professional, two or possibly three column design Joomla 3.x template for the Evaluation Toolbox for content pages. Changes that we are seeking include: - redesign Evaluation Toolbox banner/logo header. This includes the removal of the words Community Sustainability Engagement in the header logo. The logo header should read “Evaluation Toolbox” We recommend you include the PREA turtle logo in the header ([login to view URL]) We can supply you with the artwork files in different styles and formats. - removal of all existing partner and council logos in the footer section - menu consolidation and renaming. We can do the menu renaming, but the change may impact your design. - we would request some CSS text styles to be defined. These should be for - the article title - Heading 1 and Heading 2 and Heading 3 - to highlight quotes (“They key point is this..”) that may be displayed on a separate line to draw the readers attention. The quote style may be indented from the main body of text or highlighted in some other way. - to highlight key learning points. This might be an indented text box with different colour, with or without a border. - to display tables nicely formatted with sufficient cell padding and spacing to make the text readable - bibliography references when we are crediting the work from another contributor for an image used or concept we are discussing Please consider adding a placeholder for the Google Translate tool so users can select another language. [login to view URL] Two thirds of our website visitors are viewing the website from desktop/laptop computers and one third are using mobile devices. A responsive design or other solution to cater for both audiences is appreciated. Colours. We recommend designers stick to a simple and clean colour pallet. Designers may choose to base their designs around the blue, green and white that features in PREA’s logo (see Dropbox link for logo). We have provided a mock design (see Word Document attached) as a starting point and PREA logos. These are a sample only and we welcome alternative options.
