Previosly, I worked with embedded Linux ( OpenWRT, DD-WRT, RouterOs Tomato), and various toolchains uClib-NG, uClib, OpenWRT SDK, Android NDK. We have locked raspery pi for buildroot based on MAC address that means an SD card prepared for one Pi board works for that Pi only, Customized OS can't be used on other PI neither one can duplicate SD card to use our same usecase with different PI hardware.
