Hong Kong Supermarket On-Shelf Product Research 1

We are working on a client project for an Australian manufacturer of premium honey, supplement and skincare products. We are helping them prepare for market entry to Hong Kong. As part of the work, we will include an on-shelf competitor analysis for this market, which includes the following information: - Competitor pricing - Country of manufacture - Pack size - Product claims - Ingredients lists - Type of packaging - Positioning in-store (e.g. health food aisle or beauty aisle) - Shelf space in centimetres - Promotion (if being discounted/gondola end etc.) - Photos of front, back, top & bottom of products The job will require you to visit the following retail outlets: - Threesixty supermarket - Wellcome - ParknShop - Mannings - City Super You will be required to go to the shelves where the following product categories are stocked: - Honey/bee products o Manuka honey o Honeycomb o Fresh royal jelly o Manuka honey candy o Manuka honey soap bar o Propolis and manuka honey spray o Propolis liquid o Propolis toothpaste - Natural and herbal adult and kids health supplements o Colostrom tablets and milk powder o Evening primrose oil caps o Goat milk tablets o Green lipped mussel caps o DHA and Vitamin D3 capsules o Omega 3 caps o Lecithin caps o Lung clear caps o Propolis caps o Royal jelly caps o COQ10 caps o Squalene caps - Skincare and beauty products o Lanolin lip balm o Lanolin face cream o Collagen cream o Jojoba oil o Phyto intense serum o Phyto revitalising face cream - Natural anti-inflammatories o Shark cartilage caps You will need to photograph the products and shelf space (where possible) and complete a competitor analysis template in an excel spreadsheet. We envisage that it will take between 15-20 hours to complete. We are prepared to pay up to AUD $175 for the completion of the job. The project will be awarded to the most competitive quote that can demonstrate the capability to accurately perform this task. Successful applicants will be emailed a detailed product information list and excel sheet template to complete. The deadline for this project is one week from job acceptance.
