Help to optimize our server for PHP and MariaDB based application

Currently, I am running a PHP application that also uses MYSQL (MariaDB). The CPU load is higher than I would like, so i would like someone who is an expert at performance modification for our server. The server is using Apache with Nginx as a front proxy. (Engintron plugin is being used with WHM/Cpanel currently) It is a Linux server with 12 Cores and 128 GB of RAM. However, it is not optimized for optimal performance. The application is using INNODB. I would also like to optimize PHP performance. Currently we are using PHP-FPM with PHP Version 7 (the application does not run on anything greater than PHP 7.0) If you are an expert at performance optimization for a server please apply.
