Description As a QA Developer, you’ll be part of the development team working to ensure high quality of work is maintained through coordination with the QA team. This is a full time position. Responsibilities - Conducting manual testing (40% of the week) - Automating end-to-end test (60% of the week) - Organizing the testing schedule in collaboration with the other QA member - Provide feedback and help to improve the current test strategy (Performance, Exploratory, Regression testing, etc) - Write bug reports, answer questions from developer about the way to reproduce the bug; help the project manager prioritize the bug - Any other connected task. Requirements - Passion for Quality Assurance and quality of the product - Experience in defining QA strategies - Understanding in which context and when use different kind of test - Knowledge of different test types - Smoke Testing, Load testing, Exploratory testing, etc - Experience in web development w/ MEAN stack is a plus. - Knowledge of test automation - MEAN Test Framework like e2e, Mocka, Jasmine - Selenium - Cucumber Framework in Ruby - JMeter - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) (English is required) - Able to attend daily scrums and sprint meetings as required via Google Hangouts - Experience in an Agile/Scrum context as a QA programmer or tester - Can work on Eastern time zone (from 8am ‘til 6pm, Montreal Time) We are a world class, US/Canadian startup with a team that have worked at Google, IBM, Amazon, Ubisoft, Zynga, Ebay and Expedia. Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs, jobs and triggers. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
