Web site Fault/Crash

I have a few issues that I need to resolve but one in particular I need to resolve urgently. Before I describe these issues I would like to explain that I run a small independent recruitment agency and I own a web site linked to this business. This site when working normally allows candidates to register and search for jobs and allows me to search candidates and post jobs. Yesterday I noticed my site had crashed and the #1 issue below discusses this in detail. I'm looking for someone I can work with long term as I hope to start work on another recruitment project soon. So I need a versatile web developer who I can work closely with for many years ahead, advise when required - and of course trust and reliability are very important credentials for me. Here are the issues I need help on: 1. The home page of my web site is currently not visible online and it appears to have been replaced by either an error message or other times a default page labeled “under construction” for a hosting company called Netnation which is not my hosting company nor does my hosting company Rackspace have any affiliation with this company. Yesterday, Rackspace did a security test on the site’s web files and has found one line of malicious coding. I can provide further details. Please note that no one has authorized access to our site coding at the moment except Rackspace and me and therefore no code changes or any interference would have occurred from our side. It is possible that a candidate may have uploaded a resume that may have been corrupted, as this is the only facility on this site where someone from the public can upload a file. Our database appears to be unaffected and seems to work OK except we no longer can post a job. A similar message appears when I try to do this. I need to have this investigated further, rectified and our home page reuploaded. Also, it would be good to put measures in place where we can prevent this happening again. 2. I wish to deactivate the feature to upload a resume file. I think this is important for us if corrupt files can bring down our site but also some candidates have experienced problems uploading files so it has become a bit of a source of complaints. Currently a candidate has the option to copy and paste their resume in to a box field, however I think the format of the text editor on this field could be drastically improved as text that is pasted appears compressed and difficult to read from our side. Therefore we may need a solution that will allow us to view the content of resumes clearer. 3. My job database when working normally allows me to post jobs but requires me to display a salary for all jobs that go live. I would like to be able to add the option to hide or not display salaries for some jobs by means of adding a tick box in the job posting field that would state: “Hide Salary”. When I tick this box when posting a job the candidate at the other end when viewing the posted job advert will see “Confidential” near where salary range is normally displayed. If I do not tick this box then the salary range would be displayed as normal. 4. I need to change our office address on this web site.
