This is NOT a 3D printer but probably shares some similar coding. I want to build a Scara arm with a reach of about 12 inches or more. I need movement precision down to 1/16th of an inch, no more. At the end of the arm I need a rotating platform that can hold several cans of inverted spray paint and a device mounted above the spray cans weighing about 1-2lbs. The platform needs to auto-level as well as be able to rotate 360 degrees. There needs to be a motor to depress the spray can.
I currently have 8 nema 16 4 wire steppers [login to view URL]
I also have 10 A4988 drivers with heatsinks for 7 of them, the other 3 should be on their way. For testing I have several computer power supplies for power. I also have an arduino uno.
I will build the structure myself but I might need some design help. I have access to several wood working power tools and I do construction. I can also find a laser cutting place in town to cut acrylic if that is needed.
What I'm looking for is someone to provide the coding, some design help and tweaking once the platform is built. I prefer to communicate through Skype and if you speak English well enough to have a voice call that would be even better. I do NOT pay for your time, I pay for work and results and only that which I have asked for. I have had bad luck on freelancer but if you turn out to be a good employee then I will re-hire you for my other projects that I would like to do. My budget for this project is about $100 but if I am satisfied I will consider a bonus of $25-$50. I am very busy from Monday to Wednesday and Thursday I don't get much done because I get to bed early trying to make up for the first part of the week. Most of my free time will be Friday through Sunday and you wont' be penalized if nothing gets done when I'm not around because I didn't have time to further direct you.
hello bro
to make it easier we need arduino mega
arduino uno has just 13 digital output with arduino mega we have 56, maybe in next stage you need to add extra sensors or actuator so i prefer to use mega
i can be you instructor and write arduino code and see your hardware and i can guide you to built the correct hardware, able to write full doc and presentations for you
