Remove MFC from a VC++ project

My company administers the echoWare open-source project, used by the EchoVNC and InstantVNC applications. EchoWare is a Windows toolkit (a portable DLL) written in C++ that allows any application to make a "firewall-friendly" connection from one client to another. We've been working on echoWare for several years, and so some of the source is several years old, including MFC components. One problem with MFC is that echoWare will not compile with Visual Studio 2008 Express (the free download version), which is what most open-source developers would expect at a minimum. So this project is to remove all MFC components from the echoWare toolkit. The key test will be to verify that it compiles cleanly (in both RELEASE and DEBUG builds) with VS 2008 Express, and that it passes our normal regression testing when partnered with previous stable releases (i.e., this release on one side of a connection, previous release on the other). Note also: * this toolkit is very networking oriented (sockets, IO completion ports, buffering and byte counters, etc). So please do not bid if you're not very comfortable with advanced socket programming concepts. * as we recently lost the primary echoWare developer, I am looking for a long-term owner for this toolkit. Please take that in consideration when bidding. Finally, I've attached the latest snapshot of the code, version 1.999.18. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). ## Platform Visual Studio 2008 a must.
