Hi, Thank you for posting. I have VS 2019 installed on the system having upgraded from VS 2017. Yes, I can build "Hello. cs" from the command line. This is called a console application. Why the specification for 2017? is it because of a .net framework? I am a solution expert with over 16 years of experience and an MSCA holder in web Applications. Good evening sir. I already have the C# compiler on my PC, with Visual Studio 2022 community edition (it doesn't make much difference with VS 2017). I have 30 years of experience in programming, most of it in C/C++ in R&D teams for high-tech firms, and have used C# to create flight plans for air-fighters when working for Thalès Training & Simulations in France. It's impossible to give a precise offer without more information about your needs, but I feel qualified for it. It depends much on the complexity of your project, but given the time and the budget, it probably isn't big. Anyway, I'm used to building command line tools in C/C++, and the task in C# is really very similar, especially without UI. I will be glad to help you and will do my best to satisfy you. I have 10+ years developing with C# and the .NET framework. I am currently running VS2019 however i would have no problem installing 2017 alongside for the project. My B.S. in Computer Science is a theoretical track so I've lived through all the different classes (Data Structures, Operating Systems, etc.) So whatever your project entails I am confident that I can handle it.
