Hi, I have worked several projects using Arduino/Raspberry pi and other micro controller projects. I have already worked on Arduino that controls heater based on temp sensor feedback. And the whole system will be monitored remotely. As photon is compatible with Arduino style of coding, this task is quite similar to that. I read the photon spec and it looks too good while compared to Arduino. In terms of programming, we may need to tweak few things as Arduino is a 8 bit AVR processor and photon is a 32bit ARM processor. Also it is having built-in wifi that is an added bonus for the cost of this board. Thanks!

Hi Steve Good day. We are a startup trying to get established in engineering software service domain. We have been into several of the IoT and devices research for some time. We are in a state that we are not sure whether we should go for a product development in IoT or support the software service requirements around. Anyway, we are experimenting with raspberry, odroid etc for sometime to cater our long term goals. We have been working in C++ for ~15 years, preparing software for healthcare OEMs and we have excellent coding capabilities. We are looking for long time associations. When i checked, the device can be ordered online. Thats means, we can build the environment here itself. You haven't mentioned specific software requirements. So, we are basically unable to determine what kind of resource this task will require, to finish. C++, we have excellent capabilities. Hello Steve, I've taken a look on the website and IDE you provided and it seems pretty doable for me. It sounds like an interesting project that I'd really like to work on. A few words about me: My name is Bogdan Panait. I'm currently working as an Embedded C Developer for Alten, with some past years at Freescale Semiconductor. But I also like to work on outside projects and Freelancer seems the best way to do it. I graduated the Polytechnic University of Bucharest with a Bachelor's Degree in Automation and Computer Science (I'm from Bucharest, Romania). I worked with Arduino in the past, my Bachelor's Degree project actually uses some modules from Arduino Duemilanove (It was a self driving car with smart collision avoidance system). Since I got an Andoid phone about for years ago I started developing on it as well and by now I have some experience with development and integration of Android apps. I have experience programming for Arduino and other microcontrollers like PIC, dsPIC and Texas Instruments DSP. I can do the sensors reading (analog or digital) and generate the control signals for the relays. Because the IDE uses the same Arduino code there would be no delays at the beginning of the project.
