Hello All, I need someone to design a data storage device. The concept of this device is simple. This device needs to record and save numbers entered on a keypad. This keypad will consist of numbers 0-9 ( i.e calculator keypad). This device will be placed underneath a keypad so it must be thin in structure to fit inside the keypad. Important - this device must not interfere with the operation of the keypad which has its own data collecting board underneath its number keys. So in other words, this device must be placed in between the keypad and the board, without interference in the keypads normal operations. To get a better idea, you can take any calculator and look inside to see how its designed as far as entering digits and you will understand what I want to do. After the numbers are entered on the keypad, this device should record and put a time and date stamp for each combination of numbers entered. To do this, I suggest we use a button (X) on the keypad for recording data and transmitting to our storage unit to save. For eaxample, if the combination is entered as 123456 and is followed by entering (X), then this will be one entry to be saved in our storage [login to view URL] must then be able to view this data on a computer.
