These are totally menu-driven, security-enabled applications that include functionality such as excel-enabled imports and exports, PDF reports, charts and graphs, snapshot reports, embedded Visual Basic and dynamic SQL, complex multi-level searches, and more. Microsoft excel is a good data entry software but for the sake of better database management and data fidelity, Microsoft Access is always the best this aligned with the fact that Ms Access allows for stronger data integrity and security due to its relational data capabilities. Relational database integrity here means that one data (e.g Age) for a certain customer name ( John Bull) would not be mistakenly deleted by another database administrator who could also probably be a database administrator in your Company. In transfer of data from one database software to the other,one has to also be aware to detail like data type( strings, doubles, long integers, short intergers, primary keys, e.t.c), auto increment and so on.
