Hello, I would like to help with your project, bringing the required skills and experience. I believe to be fairly competent and experienced (>20 years) in sensory, analog, RF, digital and power electronics as well as embedded firmware in “C” for many microcontrollers. Some recent accomplishments are shown in my portfolio. Of particular relevance to your project may be the (BTLE/ANT) wearable 9DOF sensor. Schematics and PCB were done with Altium/Protel. I am familiar with ARM Cortex, having designed-in and programmed the following at least once: STM32L011, L433, L052, F030, F031, F051, F042, F072, F091, F103, plus others from Nordic and NXP. The L052 could be a candidate for your project (it would save the FTDI chip). Recently I have broken out the VL53L0X with an F042 taking measurements up to about 2m. Works well. I have played with low-cost LoRa modules from HopeRF in point-to-point arrangements; just took a look at the Eric from LPRS, enough to judge it as unproblematic. If needed I can assist with design reviews, mechanical / enclosure design and development, as well as series production setup either locally or far east..
