Build an Accounting Custom Excel Add-On

Goal: Create a Custom Excel Add-On Toolbar to facilitate common Accounting tasks, reporting, and transparency Project Steps: 1) Create a custom Excel "Ribbon" toolbar Add-On 2) Add a drop down to this toolbar which the user will be able to modify (outlined below) a) The user should have the ability to click a button and fill out a form (with a title and list of "steps"). Once the user has entered this data (in the attached doc called "Control Step") an item is added to the drop down. b) From then on whenever the user selects the corresponding item in the drop-down, a list of corresponding steps is popped up on the sheet for the user to reference. This list of steps should be persistent between different sheets in the workbook and ideally, the user could move it around / minimize it, etc. c) The user should be able to delete, modify, or add new "control step" items to/from the drop down (which each, when selected, pulls up it's own list of procedure steps). 3) Whenever a specific "Control Step" is selected from the drop down and corresponding list of items is visible (see first image in the attached word doc and "Control Procedures") - the user should then be able to link each item in the list to a specific cell or range of cells. This way each step and the data it is linked to is clearly visible to the user. 4) Whenever the user links a cell to a procedure item of a given Control Step or changes the status of the sheet (Preparer, Preparer Completion, Reviewer, etc shown on Page 4 of attached doc) - a log item is generated and added to a "Log" sheet in the workbook. 5) If at all possible, we would like to incorporate DocuSign into the Excel Add-On, so that individual users can "sign-off" on their respective roles regarding the workbook when they are finished. It sounds like this functionality might not be officially supported but if it is or if there is a workaround we would like to implement that. Everything should be as user friendly and intuitive as possible. Please see attached Word doc for more details regarding the project.
