Excel expert needed strange linking / shortcut problem between files.

Hello, i have a very strange problem with 4 Excel files. It is 4 Amazon excel flat files. - German Amazon flat file. - UK Amazon flat file. - France Amazon flat file. - Italy Amazon flat file. We did copy Data from Italy excel file from Column A to the other excel files. Now when opening the other excel files and if the italy file is renamed or deleted, the other excel files ask for the italy file. So this means the 3 excel files are somehow linked to the italy excel file... but i don't want them to be linked to the italian excel file. So what you need to do is delete the Link in the German, UK, and france file and make sure that all the correct SKUs are in those excel files even though the links are deleted. I mean, the SKUs need to be same in all 4 excel files before and after you delete the linking. thanks

HI, This is very small issue i will help you in this regard if your are happy with my solution you can pay me or a small review that will help me . 1) Open the files separately i.e German, UK, and France, in that go to "Data" Tab in the blue Ribbon and there you will find Tab " Edit Links" just Below the "Data" tab click on that then click " Break Link" will be on right side of dialogue box popped up by doing this all the linked data in the respective sheets will be saved "Values" no more links In case of more assistance fell free to ping me i will help With Regards, Raman

I regularly program workbooks for commercial use. I believe the issue is really just a matter of how the information is being transferred to the new documents.
