I'm looking for a unique B&W parchment map illustration to be included in my upcoming book. The illustration should be in a vintage style, suitable for a small (10x8 inches) format as it will cover both pages of the book which is 5x8 inches. Specific elements to be included: - Mountains and rivers - Cities and borders A brief: so the plot is set in a dystopian future where half the world is underwater due to rapid rise in sea levels. The focus is on India which itself is divided into 3 parts. The surrounding countries will have minimal detailing. The ideal freelancer for this project should have: - Strong portfolio in illustration, especially in a vintage style - Experience in creating maps or similar detailed illustrations - The ability to work in black and white - Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture a theme Applicants should be prepared to provide samples of their previous work in a similar style.
