I need a VB function that sorts a best route using Google MAPS API (and caching distances to a database). I have found an open source example in java at [login to view URL] but need it rewritten as VB .NET. As it looks up distances between places, I'd like to store those in a SQL Server database too. And by preference when doing calculations, the system should look the distances up in the database first (if available) before calling Google. Is somebody able to help with this?
