GOAL:Create a historical database of populated with previous race information and results. TASK: Create a java program that can perform the following: • Run from the command prompt • Accept an ID number and date as input parameters • Use the input parameters to obtain an online xml file • Read the xml data • Connect to a database and insert the data collected from the xml file into the database. Here is the pseudo code: Start Program Read in Unique ID Start reading race details XML Insert race details to database Start reading race runner details XML Insert race runners into database Start reading race results XML Insert race details to database Code I have tried to do a lot of the coding myself. Below is all the java code and database details needed to finish off this project.
