Hello Sir This is Aditya from Navya Infosolutions and we have extensive knowledge on XMPP . We can start from open source client server models ( in Java ) and mold the client to your needs. As you already mentioned, the server can sit on a linux system if required, that will not be an issue. We can give you the client for both Mac and Windows since the project we would use is in Swings and with a little extra work we can port the UI to Mac also.
