Software tester role with potential for fulltime

I am seeking a software tester for a web application project that I am developing. The primary programming language used for this project is JavaScript. The ideal candidate for this role should have advanced testing experience. Key Responsibilities: • Gain a thorough understanding of how our software is used by our customers, including functions, processes, and workflows so that you are effective in testing our products. • Design, build, execute, and maintain test strategies, test plans and test cases, both manual and automated using agile methodologies. • Perform hands on software testing including functional, data integrity, platform and performance, integration and regression testing to ensure the quality of our products reach defined criteria and targets. • Contribute to the ongoing support of product releases in production. • Assist with the build process and test each new build, including installation/deployment of builds and data conversion. • Respond to allocated and escalated issues, providing ad-hoc assistance to other team members regarding escalated issues. • You ARE the QA department – You will be MASTER at liaising with multiple developers, prioritising issues, attending one on one and team calls, writing effective bug reports/comments/documentation and playing your part as the most contributed team member. What you will need to succeed: • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in software testing, including relevant experience with web and mobile (Android and iOS) applications. • Experience with test automation. • Proficiency with agile working methodologies and teams. • Experience with API test automation would be beneficial.
