Basic Features:
1. We are using classic ASP
2. Once you are selecting card then it transfers a card ID to personalize modules which you will
write.
3. We need uploading image part and we print from our server
4. Effects will be like moonpig site.
Here are the features of the project to deliver (in detail):
1. Load the e-card graphics that has been selected from the 1st step. NOTE: The graphics ID
will be passed as a parameter while loading the web module. (Preference will be in XML
format.)
2. Image upload from UI.
3. Image transformation [move, zoom, rotate, flip]
4. Custom message [text editing features like font, size, color, alignments]
5. Effects: No effect, Sharpen, Black and White, Sepia
6. Adjustment: No Adjustment, Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Hue.
Possible Questions-Answers:
1. What is the recommended resolution of the Custom Image [which will be uploaded by
the end user] for best print output?
Ans.: 1. Normally our card resolution is 3261x4607 and photos is depends the
customers photo resolution..But when personalising we can use 400x622 pixel resolution
and the customer picture resolution automatically set for that our cardimage resolution.
And finally for print we use 3261x4607 resolution and customers original resolution as
png.
2. Do we need to make all the 4 sections [i.e. Front, Inside left, Inside right, Back] of the e-
card editable? We are already editing Front and Inside Right. Need confirmation about
the Inside Left and Back. In the MOONPIG the back side is NOT editable.
Ans.: 2. All we need upload the customer picture and then personalise as left right top
left, and zoom. When zoomed customer also move the picture on the left right top and
bottom.
3. Do we need to incorporate the upload signature OR the preset signatures feature?
Ans.: 3. it can be depends your programming>
4. Finally how the card detail will be submitted to the server for the next steps? Preference
is XML format.
Ans.: 4. If we can get the personalise picture name and other information from xml to
our asp coding, it will be ok. We use classic asp and need to convert from xml formattingto asp.
