App to track project status

Hey, I work as an auditor in a small accounting office; we are starting to lose track of who did what audit and the status of various projects. I need an application that can be acessed from any one of our six computers. Each user should be able to open the app and edit/enter the following information; -Audit name, time period covered, record label audited -Who worked on the audit -Was the audit submitted? If yes then enter date -Was the audit settled? If no enter amount offered if yes enter amount settled for. -Where was the audit filed; box or file? -A small entry box for notes/comments that can be appended to as project progresses. I am not a computer guru, aside from a few (and far in between) VB and C classes in college. No clue as to what would be the best language to write this in. I also don't have a specific idea as to the interface but I'm thinking I want the program to open to an alphabetical listing of audits with an option to be able to view a listing of projects by each of the five employees. I want columns included in the alphabetical listing that show the status i.e. column for submitted, settled..that is either checked or unchecked to provide a quick glance. Each user should be able to double click on an entry (or click edit) and be able to see the status in detail. That's pretty much it... :) Thanks!! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform We have five computers running XP Home, one pro, all computers have Microsoft Office XP. We run IE/Mozilla and use Outlook as our mail client.
