Image resize and compression - PHP

I need a script (PHP) that uses GD 1.8 to take images input from a form and resize for both thumbs and large images and also compress the images to a specified size (so it checks the compressed size and loops if it's not small enough) and the adds the images in blobs to my mySQL db.I can supply my existing form input code which handles just image upload at the moment. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
