We are looking for a talented developer to design an article submission site (sort of similar to digg). You will need to check out the attached site specification document for a better indication of what we are after. Please note that we do not have a problem with you using [login to view URL] open source code for the basis of this website - this could be beneficial in both terms of time and cost for both of us. As long as you achieve what we want, as set forth in this project description and attached document, then that is fine. Aside from the features that you will read in the attached site specification document, some things that will be required are: - User management system - Template system for the main page html/css - Search feature - Article/link submission system - Anything brilliant you might suggest! Skills required: - PHP/mySQL - HTML/design - Familiar with RSS - Ability to provide a web 2.0 inspired application and layout A successful candidate will be someone willing to carry on with us after the project is completed to ensure a proper rollout. Please also note that we are on a budget for this project.
