I just need a pretty simple query written. Right now we can a column named "guests" in one of our MSSQL db's that contains data in the following format: Cheryle McFarland^GS^|Kevin Newman^GS^|Mike ^GS^|Self^^ Dale Rohauer^Boise Salt Lake^ Domingo ^GS^Technical Representative|Julio ^Vanguard Platics^Shift Supervisor|Self^^ Mike ^GS^Technical Service|Self^^ Bill ^GS^G.M. - Portland|Carol ^GS - Portland, OR^Tech. Acct. Mgr.|Self^^ This needs to be divided into 3 separate columns for reporting purposes. There can also be multiple guests per line item, so each guest should be added as a separate row. To link everything to the main db, the identifier column "ExpenseID" should be used. The resulting table should look like this: ExpenseID, GName, Gcompany, Gposition OR to use some of the data from my samples 11111, Domingo, GS, Technical Representative 11111, Julio,Vanguard Platics, Shift Supervisor 11111, Self 2222,Mike, GS, Technical Service 2222,Self Let me know if you need any more information and I can provide it.
