Database checking listing update script

Thanks for reading We require a script that will automatically check a clients database of product listings either directly or via an xml feed at their end, and match that up with their listings on our website, adding new listings, removing ones no longer needed and updating any that have changed. The data being collected and updated would be consisting of a few fields of info and a product photo. That's the basic idea
