Hey!
I am in dire need of a software for Windows, preferably all versions if possible.
The software works as a TV tracker. Administrators are basically able to add information about new episodes, which then notifies all users who like that show. Here are closer details:
When opening the program, it displays a login window, which also has a register button for new users. Once logged in, a window (see Spotify as a good example), displays a list with "Show Name", "Episode Number", "Episode Title", "Air Date", "Air Time", "Special Notes" and a small icon called "Favorite". On the left side, just like Spotify, there are a few menu options; "All Shows", "My Favorites", "Countdown" and "Contact Us". When a user clicks the Favorite icon on a show in the All Shows tab, this show gets added to the "My Favorites" and "Countdown" lists and all upcoming episodes for this show get shown here.
Administrators also have a few extra menu options; "Add Tag", "Add Episode", "Edit Episode", "Remove Episode" and "Remove Tag". For the program to recognize each show in the user's Favorites, the administrators create one tag for each show (for example they would name the tag for all episodes of the TV show The Big Bang Theory as "The Big Bang Theory"). When it comes to the "Add, Edit and Remove Episode" options, this is basically where the administrators are able to add a new episode to the program. Once a new episode is added, all users with that show ("Tag") in their Favorites gets notified with a small bubble in the Windows Taskbar saying "Your show: (name) has had a new episode added/an episode changed/an episode removed". If they click on the bubble, the program opens and shows that episode in the list by itself so the user can see the difference.
From the My Favorites list, the icon for "Favorite" also has an X over it, by which the user can click to remove that show from their Favorites. In all the lists, the air times for each episode are shown in the user's local time (which means that when administrator's add new episodes, they also say which timezone that airing time is in, so the program converts it for each user individually). The "Countdown" list also shows how many days, hours and minutes are left until that episode airs.
If this was confusing, I will be happy to answer any and all questions.
I can provide screenshots upon request to make it easier to understand what I mean.
Thank you!
