Christian Business Network

We are seeking the help of an experienced Perl or PHP coder to complete development of a new worldwide Christian business network, c6network.com. Although basic membership is free, we will offer paid participation in small groups which meet regularly to share Christian faith and business issues and insights. We also want to require all members, paid and free, to register so that we develop a database that is comprehensive. Our very experienced marketing firm is developing an HTML front end to explain the program and encourage people to join. You can see the basic concepts (still rough) at c6network.com. We want to use either a Perl or PHP portal backend to provide online community. We currently have WebAPP installed at [login to view URL] and have also experimented with various phpNuke portal scripts. The probem is, neither one requires a very thorough registration form. What we need help with is this: 1. Modify an existing free Perl or PHP portal script so that it requires comprehensive registration, as might be typical for a yellow pages script (we are also familiar with phpyellow for example) or membership script such as info central. 2. At the bottom of the registration form, allow registrants to select the level of membership they want - paid or unpaid. We have an account set up with Paypal to accept credit card payments. 3. Once the registrant clicks "submit" or "purchase," the same form connects them with paypal and records the purchase, and also puts the data into a MySQL or Perl database which will be fully visible to the admin but only select fields to other members (perhaps with a username which hides real names if desired). 4. Integrate all the scripts so they look and feel the same, not a hodgepodge of different scripts. 5. Offer any other advice or suggestions to make this truly a world class web service. We are seeking a Christian coder who will donate his/her services up front, perhaps with a token fee, and accept full payment later on once the site is making money. ## Deliverables 1) Integrated databases including consistent look and feel (CSS etc. as needed) 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as explained in the description, installed on the buyer's server and tested for functionality 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
