Resource Update Script for Webgame

I need help designing part of a cron job script that will be used for a multi user flash/web based game. This is similar to games like utopia, tribalwars, travian, Ikariam, battledawn. Players build 'buildings', and perform 'research'. This script will calculate how much 'resources' of each 'type' to add to each player, based on variables, how many and what level buildings exist, and what research has been done. THIS SCRIPT WILL NOT OUTPUT ANY HTML, it will only be used to update fields in the DB. The next part of the job involves more consulting for programming specific functions. So communication is important. The further from the minimum bid, the more will be expected in this area. The closer to minimum, the moreso that I will open another project for you. The second part of this is that I need help with functions for 'unit' production, grouping, management, and movement. Another project will be opened for 'attacking' and 'defending' and if you've been what im looking for, you will have first shot at that project. Summary of expectations: * Strong ability in coding scripts using MySQL and PHP using memory/processor efficent code. * Quick learner and intuitive problem-solver. * Back and forth understanding of object-oriented PHP. * Previous history in the gamming industry.
