I need a simple but important update for my vb.net program. I have a POS system that sends updated prices to a networked computer. One part of my software is a server/administration program that runs a timer. When the timer hits zero, the software automatically updates a menuitem file and an update file (I choose the directory that contains the two files using an ini file associated with the admin program) The server/admin program is correctly updating the menuitem and update files when the timer reaches zero 99% of the time. For some reason, sometimes the files aren't updating. The update I need is for the server/admin program to also update the files 10 seconds after the timer hits zero. So it will update the files a total of two times. Once at zero and once 10 seconds after (the timer restarts). My idea is that if the file updates twice in a row, if it misses the first update the second one will work. If you can help please let me know, Thanks
