Here's an easy one (I hope). I had been using a .hlp file, and calling it from various menus in my program after defining the [login to view URL] file: [login to view URL] = [login to view URL] & "\[login to view URL]"
'previously, when it had been "\[login to view URL]" the subs below had worked fine.
Private Sub mnuHelpContents_Click()
10 With cdlHelp
20 .HelpFile = [login to view URL]
30 .HelpCommand = gHelpFinder
40 .showHelp
50 End With
End Sub
Private Sub cmdHelp_Click()
With cdlHELP
.HelpFile = [login to view URL]
.HelpContext = 14
.HelpCommand = cdlHelpContext
.showHelp
End With
End Sub
Private Sub mnuHelpSearch_Click()
10 With cdlHELP
20 .HelpFile = [login to view URL]
30 .HelpCommand = cdlHelpPartialKey
40 .showHelp
50 End With
End Sub
NOW, I've redone all my help files and have them as a .chm file, which does not get recognized and opened, when I use the above:
'in the submain I set the file
[login to view URL] = [login to view URL] & "\[login to view URL]"
What changes in the code would one make to make this happen and open it correctly? Or do I need to convert this to .hlp, and if so, what tool do you recommend?
