dynamic page deisgn and code

I have a website that I want to display information dynamically fomr the DB according to what link is clicked. I woujld like ajax so that reloading of the page is not necessary. The page needs to be designed and the code implemented to pull data from the Db, this is a very simple project for anyone that knows php/mysql.
