I am looking for someone who can do nonlinear regression analysis. My problem include fitting the calculated values onto the measured values using some initial guess for the unknown variable. There is only one unknown variable in this case and that is a complex number. The whole function of the program is to find the best value of the complex number variable that fits the data best.

I'm a MSc Engineering Physics student, I've done nonlinear data fitting quite sometimes, using either programming languages like Python (NumPy) and Mathematica and software like Origin and IGOR Pro. I can do that for you relatively easy in any of those languages/software (1 or 2 days), a little bit more time needed to do it in Matlab (2 or 3 days).
