I want to modify a PHPMailer script that let me build a email template in a separate template file.
I have made a part of the script (attached) but I would like to define the variable only at one place, in the HTML template file. For now, I have to do a str_replace() for each variables found in the email template. For my project, I will have maybe 50 variables submitted from the web form and I found it to long to write variable at 2 places. Possible in PHP?
Hi! I'd like to Thank you for teh invitation first.
Now on the matter at hand. By 'variables' here you are referring to $_POST members(data submitted with the form) or just any php variable? Please clarify.
ANd then what you are astually asking is that you just add the $_POST key, following some easy to pick up string format, in the template file and all these to be automatically picked up by the code preparing the actual message HTML, but without having to explicitly list each and every one of those 'place-holder' strings in teh code at all, just in the template file. Do I get your aim correctly?
Kind Regards,
Dobri
