General information for the website: Looking for a remote Zend PHP Developer / Senior OOPHP Developer / Symphony Developer. Description of requirements/features: Textmimedia is a progressive Manchester based digital agency, specialising in web design, digital marketing, graphic design, mobile application development and IT consultancy that serves to bring your commercial ideas to life. To support our growth, we are seeking talented, motivated engineeers to join our company. Required skills: Backend Developer: • Good level of experience with Zend framework or similar - at least 2 years. • Excellent skills in programming with Object Oriented PHP. • Experience with databases, MySQL specifically • A bigger portion of JavaScript (Angular.js, jQuery) HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON Optional Skills not essential. • Managing and setting up Linux web servers, including: General management, AWS, DNS, Firewalls, Backup, Logging & debugging, load balancing, scaling solutions, automated deployment, unit testing. • Experience developing Rich Internet Applications • Knowledge of version control systems (SVN/GIT) From all: • Good English (written and spoken) • Maximum stress-resistance and improvisation talent in difficult situations • Excellent communication, research and problem solving skills. • Pride in deliverables and work ethic. You will be working with us on a remote basis. The position can be both Part-time and Full-time. Compensation: competitive salary, based on experience.
