One of my previous project, we are using load cell to calculate the weight basically taking the raw value and do some calculations to the output. For your application of weighing a product, Siemens PLC with the weight module are able to weight a product precisely, accurately and most important is consistent!  I have a good experience with application of control techniques and automation strategies in matlab/Simulink, LABVIEW, GMWIN and PLCs along with in-depth knowledge of electronics, sensors and instrumentation etc. I am also supervising a project on the Design and implementation of environmental control system for poultry farms using PLC.  I am currently teaching piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) to the students of electrical engineering. Also discussed various plant models and their working involving temperature control, pressure control, flow control, heat exchanger based systems, mixing etc. The standard model ANSI/ISA S5.1-1984 (R1992) Instrumentation Symbols and Identification have been used as a reference.  Have good knowledge about the different types of sensors/transducers used and their accompanying signal conditioning. Have sufficient knowledge about the different kinds of valves and actuators along with the final control elements.  I have good idea about wiring diagrams for the different circuits and equipment and how to read and implement wiring diagrams. Types and uses of circuit breakers, relays, safety and timer based operation like bottle filling, conveyor belt, feedstock are also known to me.  I am also conducting lab for this course, which covers ladder diagram programming and is implemented on ED-4260 PLC Trainer. The PLC is GLOFA GM-4 and the software used to program it is GMWIN.
