I have around 3 years experience with java and 2 years with mySql..so according to my understanding if the user inputs some of his/her data the method has to gen a unique id..like a primary key? Is the database already made?

Hi, As per your project description you want to connect to data base and on the behalf of some input you want to create id. For connection you must follow 4 steps of data base. First i would like to know which data base are you using. If it is small project just use SqLite. Second step take the input and use some algorithm and generate out put. I can do this if you want as per my understanding. Thanks
